The Disciples of Christ

The Christian Church (Disciples of Christ) sprang up in the early 1800's as a movement for Christian Unity. Today the Disciples (as they are often called) have a mission based in unity, justice, and sharing God’s love! We proudly claim the Disciples Identity Statement as our own. 

“We are Disciples of Christ, a movement for wholeness in a fragmented world. As part of the one body of Christ, we welcome all to the Lord’s Table as God has welcomed us.” 

As the first mainline denomination founded on American soil we celebrate our diversity of thought and interpretation. We are a covenant based denomination, which means everything we do with our sister churches is intentional and with celebration.
